These are true clipper ships reflecting their proud heritage in every inch of their polished brass and gleaming brightwork. Step aboard these unique vessels and discover a new age of sail, where the traditions of the past are happily married to the comforts and amenities of the present day. Star Clipper and Star Flyer are modern cruise ships in every way, created for luxury-loving passengers who also love the traditions and romance of the legendary era of sailing ships. Star Clipper and Star Flyer are both 360 feet long and each carries around 150 guests in pampered comfort.
Life aboard is blissfully relaxed, and you’ll never feel confined thanks to spacious cabins and expansive teak decks with ample space and not one, but two swimming pools. Also notable are the atmospheric inside/outside tropical bar and piano bar, the attractive restaurant accommodating all guests in a single sitting with an open seating policy.
The décor of Star Flyer is reminiscent of the grand age of sail. Antique prints and paintings of famous sailing ships please the eye, while teak and gleaming mahogany rails are richly reminiscent of a proud nautical heritage.
As the name suggests, Star Flyer is both a shining example to other ships of her kind and a vessel that cuts through the water with all the grace of a bird in full flight, she offers her own style and character to anyone who steps aboard.
If you are feeling active, you can try a supervised climb up the rigging to the crow’s nest, or at selected stops try some complimentary water sports like kayaking, windsurfing or dinghy sailing. If you are feeling lazy, relax by one of the 2 pools on board with a good book or just sit back and enjoy the wonderful scene of travelling under full sail.

We have selected a range of hotels in the historic centre ensuring that most of the sights and sites you will want to visit are within walking distance or very easy to travel to. The 4* Hotel Torino ticks all the boxes with its central location, spacious and well appointed rooms in a character building, fully air conditioned whilst there is also a roof terrace café bar with fine views. Our basic package includes two nights on a bed & breakfast basis, though if you wish to stay longer in the eternal city, we will be happy to arrange this for you.

Hotel Torino, located just 200 yards away from Termini Train Station and Repubblica Metro in Rome, offers a splendid terrace that overlooks the city’s rooftops. The hotel, housed in a beautifully restored Umbertine-style building, provides free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms are elegantly furnished with a classic touch and are equipped with amenities such as a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a safety deposit box. The private bathrooms are fitted with a hairdryer. A delicious buffet breakfast is served daily on the outdoor terrace, which includes an assortment of ham, eggs, cereal, pastries, and cakes. Many restaurants and cafés can be found in the nearby Monti area. The hotel’s central location is perfect for exploring Piazza Venezia and the Coliseum, both of which are within walking distance.
